"Païva with Lapis lazuli inlays" is a custom-made marble fireplace with gilded bronze ornaments of a quite exceptional and rare model.
The frieze, both legs, top and sides are inlaid with Lapis lazuli, a highly sought after blue gemstone for its high ornamental qualities.
Louis XV style, this fireplace is adorned with decorative bronzes of great chiseling quality. The center shell from which escape flowering branches is made out of gilded bronze, as are the acanthus leaves on the jambs.
This fireplace comes with a cast iron insert decorated with shells and plant foliage.
