"Marquis de Condorcet" is a Louis XVI style marble fireplace mantel delicately carved in low relief and made out of Blanc P Carrara marble.
The entablature is delicately decorated with scrolls of flowers and pomegrantes, which unfold symmetrically on either side of an elaborately decorated acanthus leaf, all within a moulded frame. The jambs feature carved and fluted pilasters at the top of which are a slighly curved square foliage design.
