"Marquis de Condorcet" is a custom-made Louis XVI style marble fireplace mantel delicately carved in low relief.
The entablature is delicately decorated with scrolls of flowers and pomegrantes, which unfold symmetrically on either side of an elaborately decorated acanthus leaf, all within a moulded frame. The jambs feature carved and fluted pilasters at the top of which are a slighly curved square foliage design.
We combine state of the art technology with a genuine in-depth knowledge from some of the most experienced master marbriers, artisans and sculptors. The sculptures are entirely hand-made, in keeping with traditions from past centuries and the French “bien faire”.
We specifically select marbles from quarries in France and Italy, take extreme care during production, and employ skilled artisans to hand make the fireplace mantels. These are the three ingredients which make every fireplace mantel built in our workshops a unique piece of work.
