“Comtesse de Vintimille” is a rare Blue Turquin marble fireplace mantel with gilded bronze ornaments. This Louis XV style fireplace is shaped with curved contours.
The bronze decoration is both light and opulent. Light thanks to the delicate golden inlays which bring out the panels on the cornice and the legs, but opulent due to the Rocaille ornaments like the central asymmetrical shell which features undulations and curves. The base of the legs is decorated with foliages, while the tops are decorated with an inverted shell.
This fireplace comes with a cast iron insert. The ornaments are gilded.
