“Comtesse de Vintimille” is a rare custom fireplace with golden bronze trimming. This fireplace of Louis XV-style displays a shape with flexible and curved contours. Its bronze decoration is at the same time light and opulent. Light thanks to the delicate golden inlays which bring out the panels on the cornice and the legs, but opulent in the treatment of Rocaille ornaments like the central shell.
The base of the legs is decorated with foliage encircled on itself, while the tops are decorated with an inverted shell with winding and slender foliage coming out of it. An impressive bronze, an asymmetrical sculpted shell with undulations and curves, occupies the center of the cornice.
This exceptional fireplace can be accompanied by a hearth reducer and iron fireplace base, magnificently created. The hearth is decorated at the angles with plant motifs and rock garden-inspired shells. The upper rail is trimmed and its center has a laurel wreath displaying two interlaced palms.
This fireplace is also available entirely in marble.
