The custom-made "Comtesse de Mailly" mantel features a shapely curved form of great refinement. The Rococo repertoire of its ornamentation is characteristic of the Louis XV style mantel. The jambs are adorned with acanthus leaves that end in asymmetrical volutes, adding to the serpentine lines of the composition. The curves of the jambs echo the deep wave of the shelf that rests upon the arched crossbow front, which is underlined by a thick baguette running down to the floor. The center of the front is adorned with a typically rococo large shell and foliage ornament, flanked on either side by slightly curved hollowed molded panels.

With this artistic mantel model we propose a choice of a cast iron insert with a highly sophisticated decor, an enameled one or a brick interior.
This exceptional custom-made fireplace is available in a selection of different marbles, chiefly from France and Italy: Rouge Griotte, Sarrancolin Ilhet, violet Peach blossom, statuary Carrara, semi-statuary Carrara, grey veined white Carrara, yellow Brocatelle, Turquin Blue, Panazeau and Green Gray Saint-Anne Evangelisti.
